Osteoporosis: Take the Lead in Your Community

Enhance your practice with Teva Canada’s comprehensive approach to prevention and management of osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis affects approximately two million Canadians, including one in four women and at least one in eight men over the age of 50. At least one in three women and one in five men will suffer from an osteoporotic fracture during their lifetime. Because osteoporosis can be asymptomatic in the early stages, it often goes undetected until bone fractures occur. Many people with a history of fractures fail to receive the treatment they require to reduce risk of future fractures.

With the Osteoporosis Prevention and Management Program, you’ll find the education and tools you need to assess and address patients’ concerns with respect to bone health and fracture risk and demonstrate your expertise in this area.
